RestoApp is a B2B application, targeted and marketed at restaurants in Zanzibar, Tanzania. It allows a restaurant (independent or associated with a hotel) to manage its orders, inventory, guests, also menu items and discounts. Managers can see various reports.

Orders are introduced into the system by waiters with tablets and are automatically forwarded to the kitchen (food) or bar (drinks) for preparations. Each order item has a status, letting the waiter know when the item is ready. Clients can pay in various currencies and various methods (cash, card, hotel) or a combination of. Receipts are printed with normal printer on A6 paper sheets.

Technically, RestoApp had two challenges: making it robust so that it works well even when the connectivity is temporarily lost, and the payment system, that needs to accomodate and combine several payment methods.
